Ran up the steps like Sylvester Stalone,
Feeling like the Fresh Prince with our eyes on His thrown.

Some say D.C. means "Don't Come", however the only way to truly see the intentions of our country's founders is to emerge yourself in each of this State's Memorials. The writing is on the wall, literally ingrained into marble, the words of great leaders each with a similar theme. "DEDICATED TO THE PROPOSITION THAT ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL" - Abraham Lincoln

Fully aware of the true historical events of this country, we bring up the words of these men not to condone their early behavior but to show that the ideal of God being this country's foundation was once normal.

In a metropolis of people trying to make it to the top, naturally we headed to the roof. On the search for our own daily perfections, we seem to always reach a limitation. Trying to capture the "perfect" skyline sunset, the linen floor of our Queens hotel was ours. Peering through this broken window was our only "rooftop" vantage, but by simply changing our internal perspective we were able to see the beauty in this broken scene.

When you live by faith you understand that though our scene may look broken God gives us a purpose to be there.

Perhaps the most inspirational portion of our New England tour was stumbling onto the campus at Yale University. Not in the way most college students familiarize with, but at random through what must have been faith guided fortune.
​
The buzz around this campus was different compared to your typical University. Everyone seemed to move with purpose, knowing each step they take is meaningful. When someone made a "scene" instead of being oblivious to it, rather, people would stop and observe, to find out the deeper meaning. As if life and leisure was a part of their curriculum.
